Like true lavender, the essential oil of peppermint is a must-have in every medicine cabinet. It is indispensable for counteracting fatigue during long car drives and for alleviating car, plane or sea sickness. The application by finger of several drops to the forehead, temples and neck often achieves remarkable results. It can further be used to relieve various digestive problems, stomach ache, bloating or dizziness. Peppermint combines well with many other essential oils. It is an ideal air freshener and is effective at combating fatigue, but is also recommended for use in pain-reducing or circulation-boosting massage oils.
