Leaves
The essential oil of lemongrass is highly versatile. Its lemony fragrance is less pleasant than that of lemon peel, but it lingers longer and is therefore interesting for inclusion in soap formulas and refreshing synergies for the airways. Lemongrass combines well with citrus oils like lemon, orange and tangerine, serving as a booster for their scent. It has a purifying and insect-repellent effect. Due to its high concentration of citrals, it is also useful in cellulite massage formulas. However, it is recommended to handle lemongrass essential oil with care. Avoid its pure use on the skin and in bath.
