Fresh peel
The essential oil of bergamot is an indispensable aid for insomnia and also ideal as a sedative. Furthermore, it has a powerful effect, whether used separately or in synergy, on emotional well-being and a positive mood. External use should be limited to the evenings, due to its phototoxic characteristics. The traditional belief that bergamot can be used to tan faster is therefore not recommended. Bergamot oil combines well with other citrus oils, true lavender and ylang ylang.
